HBCU: A Call to Action

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) continue to play a vital role in the educational success of minority students in this country. In partnership with the Mu Upsilon Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Twenty Pearls Foundation, Inc. encourages support of these universities by urging alumni to give back to institutions that contributed to their success.

The foundation also supports the sorority's signature program #CAPSM which is the abbreviation for the College Admissions Process in the Gainesville Community. The program is designed to assist students in their efforts to enter college by providing a hands-on approach that includes all the steps from researching various colleges to actually completing the application process.
